BIO

Christophe Bisson is a French film director, producer, and screenwriter. He was born in Paris, France, on April 14th, 1967 and studied at the French National School of Cinema.

Christophe began his career directing music videos and commercials, and his first feature film, “Paradis”, was released in 2001. His second feature film, “Un Jeu de Séduction”, was released in 2003 and was nominated for several awards, including a César Award for Best Debut Feature.

Christophe then went on to direct “Juste un Regard” in 2007, which was nominated for three César Awards, including Best Film. His fourth feature film, “Le Père de Mes Enfants”, was released in 2009 and won several awards, including the Prix Louis-Delluc for Best Film.

Christophe’s next project was “The Well-Digger’s Daughter”, a romantic drama set in the French countryside. The film was a box office success and earned Christophe many awards, including the Best Director award at the Tokyo International Film Festival.

In 2013, Christophe directed “The Returned”, a supernatural drama series for French television. The series was a critical and commercial success, and it earned Christophe a nomination for the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series.

Christophe has also directed several short films, including “Au Revoir”, “Les Passagers”, and “Sous Les Étoiles”. He is currently working on a new feature film, “Une Vie Meilleure”, which is set to be released in 2017.
