Vincent Trintignant-Corneau is a French film director, screenwriter and producer. He has been making films since the early 90's and is well known for his unique visual style and ability to create complex and subtle stories. He has made some of the most acclaimed and awarded films of the past few decades, including "A Christmas Tale", "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly" and "My Golden Days".

Born in Paris, France, in 1968, Trintignant-Corneau was raised in the city's affluent 16th arrondissement. His father was an actor and his mother a schoolteacher. Trintignant-Corneau began to develop an interest in filmmaking as a teenager, often watching films by directors like Federico Fellini and Jean-Luc Godard. After graduating from high school, Trintignant-Corneau attended the prestigious École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Techniques du Cinéma, where he studied film production and direction.

In 1995, Trintignant-Corneau made his filmmaking debut with the short film "Le Père Dernier". The film was well received and won several awards at film festivals in France. This success marked the beginning of a prolific career, with Trintignant-Corneau writing, directing, and producing a number of acclaimed films.

In 2006, Trintignant-Corneau released "A Christmas Tale", an ambitious and emotionally charged drama about a dysfunctional family. The film was a critical and commercial success, earning him several awards including the prestigious César Award for Best Director. In 2008, he followed up with "The Diving Bell and the Butterfly", a biographical drama about a paralyzed man confined to a hospital bed. The film was nominated for four Academy Awards, including Best Director, and won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival.

In 2015, Trintignant-Corneau released his most recent film, "My Golden Days". The film follows the story of a young man reflecting on his life and his past relationships.
