Vincent Sparreboom is a documentary director and cinematographer based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. He studied film at the HKU University of the Arts Utrecht, where he developed a filmmaking style rooted in scene-based, observational documentary with a strong personal angle and a clear dramatic structure. During his studies he made two short films that traveled the international festival circuit: Mama Mania and At the Feet of My Mother. The latter earned selections at festivals across Europe, Asia, and Africa, winning the Audience Award at the Busan International Short Film Festival and Best Short Documentary at the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival. Sparreboom is currently in development on his first feature-length documentary.
