Victor Alonso-Berbel is an award-winning Director, Cinematographer and Editor from Madrid, Spain. He has been the creative force behind a number of highly acclaimed projects for both television and film.
Victor Alonso-Berbel began his career studying at the School of Cinema and Audiovisuals of the Community of Madrid, and later obtained a degree in Audio-Visual Communication at the Complutense University of Madrid. He has directed and produced several short films, documentaries and television programs.
In 2014, he directed and produced the documentary “The Right to Dream”, which was selected at the Madrid International Film Festival. This documentary was also selected at the International Documentary Film Festival of Barcelona, and the International Documentary Film Festival of Mexico, among others.
In 2015, Victor Alonso-Berbel directed the short film “Lovers”, which was selected at the Cannes Short Film Corner as well as at the Los Angeles International Film Festival.
In 2016, Victor Alonso-Berbel directed the documentary “The Great Transition”, which was selected at several international film festivals.
Victor Alonso-Berbel has also written and directed the feature film, “The Butterfly Effect”, in 2018. This film was selected at the Mirabile Dictu International Catholic Film Festival, and won the Best Director Award at the Los Angeles International Film Festival.
Victor Alonso-Berbel’s work has been highly praised by critics and audiences alike. He draws inspiration from real-life events, and uses this to create powerful stories that inspire and move viewers. His work has been described as “powerful, poetic, and emotionally engaging”.
