Tiago Hespanha, born in 1978 in Lisbon, Portugal, is a film director and screenwriter. He is best known for his feature films “The Great Kilapy” and “Once Upon A Time In The West”.

Tiago began his career in the film industry in 2001, when he wrote and directed “The Great Kilapy”, a comedy about two friends who set off on an adventure to find a legendary treasure. The movie received critical acclaim and was well-received by audiences in Portugal and around the world.

Following the success of “The Great Kilapy”, Hespanha went on to direct “Once Upon A Time In The West”, a romantic drama about a young couple who fall in love despite their different backgrounds and the cultural differences that divide them.
