Tarek Sami is an award-winning filmmaker and television director. He is best known for his feature films Nadra (2009), El-Saman (2010), and Al-Kahf (2013).

Sami was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1979. He attended the University of Alexandria and earned a degree in directing and producing films. After completing his studies, he began working as an assistant director in a Cairo-based production company.

Sami’s first feature film, Nadra, was released in 2009. It was highly acclaimed by critics and earned him several awards, including the Best Film Award at the Cairo International Film Festival. The film follows the story of a young girl who is sent to live with her aunt after her mother’s death.

In 2010, Sami released his second feature film, El-Saman. It was also well-received and won several awards, including the Best Director Award at the Dubai International Film Festival. The film is based on a group of young adults who struggle to survive in a post-revolutionary Egypt.

Sami’s third feature film, Al-Kahf, was released in 2013. The film follows the story of two brothers who journey to a remote village in search of their long-lost father. The film won several awards, including the Best Feature Film at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival.

In addition to his feature films, Sami has directed several television series. He has also written and directed several short films, including the award-winning film The Meeting (2014).

Sami is now working on his fourth feature film, which is scheduled to be released in 2018. He is also developing a new television series.
