Taisiya Krugovykh is a Russian director, video artist, performer and specialist in the theory of film editing. She is a member of the art collective Gogol’s Wives and has been actively involved in politically engaged documentary practice in Russia.
She has collaborated as a videographer and editor with the Russian activist group Voina and with the feminist punk collective Pussy Riot. Her work also includes documentary projects for human rights organisations such as Memorial, focusing on civil liberties and political repression.
