Suman Gosh is a critically acclaimed Indian filmmaker and director known for his hard hitting and thought provoking films. Born in the state of Bengal, he made his directorial debut in 2000 with the film ‘Yeh Raat Phir Na Aayegi’, which won the National Award for Best Feature Film.

Gosh has gone on to direct several critically acclaimed films, such as ‘Dil Pe Mat Le Yaar’ (2002), ‘Darna Zaroori Hai’ (2006), ‘Bheja Fry’ (2007), and ‘Phas Gaye Re Obama’ (2010). He is known for his distinct style of filmmaking, which combines realism and satire to explore political and social issues.
