Srikant Chellappa is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and producer who is best known for his critically acclaimed works in the Tamil film industry. He is considered one of the most influential directors in the Tamil industry today.

Srikant Chellappa was born in Chennai, India in 1973. He began his career as a director by directing a documentary film called ‘Aadu Machaan’ which was released in 1995. In 2004, Srikant made his debut in the Tamil film industry with the movie ‘Paruthiveeran’ which was a huge success.
