Robert Rosenberg is a well-known film director and producer. He is best known for his work on the hit films The Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, and The Dark Knight.

Rosenberg was born in New York City in 1961. He attended the University of Michigan, where he earned a degree in film and media studies. After college, Rosenberg moved to Los Angeles and began his career as a film editor. In 1993, Rosenberg began working with Darabont on his feature film debut, The Shawshank Redemption.
