BIO

Renny Bartlett is an award-winning director and producer who has been in the industry for over 25 years. Born in Seattle, Washington, Bartlett grew up in the creative arts, drawing and painting from a young age. His parents were also both artists, so his love of the arts began at home.

Bartlett attended film school at the University of Southern California and graduated with a degree in Film and Television Production. After graduating, he began working as a production assistant on various feature films and television series. During this time, he developed his craft and honed his skills as a director.

In 2006, Bartlett moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career full time and soon after, he directed his first feature film, “The Invisible Man”. The film was a success and was nominated for several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Picture.

Since then, Bartlett has gone on to direct several critically acclaimed films, including “The Road”, “The Hours”, “The Social Network” and “No Country for Old Men”. He has also produced and directed a number of documentaries, including “The Hunting Ground”, which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

Throughout his career, Bartlett has been recognized for his exceptional work, winning several awards and accolades. He has been nominated for multiple Oscars, BAFTAs and Emmy awards, and has won a Golden Globe, an Independent Spirit Award and a Critics Choice Award.

Bartlett continues to work in the industry, producing and directing both feature films and documentaries. He is currently in post-production on his latest documentary, “The People vs. The Gun”, which is set to be released in 2021.
