Pol Cruchten is a Luxembourgish film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born in Luxembourg in 1978 and studied at the University of Film and Television in Prague.

Cruchten’s breakthrough work was his 2003 feature film, “Echoes”. The film was critically acclaimed and won multiple awards at film festivals. It was the first time a Luxembourgish film had won an award at the Cannes Film Festival.

In 2006, Cruchten released his second feature film, “Luxembourgish Wedding”. It was a romantic comedy set in Luxembourg and garnered positive reviews. The film was a box office success, grossing more than $2 million.

In 2012, Cruchten released his third feature film, “The Invader”. The film was a thriller set in Brussels and was well-received by critics. The film was nominated for Best Film at the European Film Awards.
