Pablo Ben Yakov is an award-winning director, writer, and producer who has directed numerous feature films, television series, and documentaries. A native of Brazil, he has worked in both Hollywood and Latin America, and his films have been seen in numerous festivals around the world.

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Ben Yakov began his career in media and entertainment in the early 1990s. After graduating from college, he started working as a production assistant for several television networks in Brazil, where he gained experience in all aspects of production.

In 1995, Ben Yakov moved to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming a director. He quickly found work as an assistant director on a variety of television shows and feature films. His first directing gig came in 1998 when he was hired to direct an episode of the hit show “The X-Files”. This was followed by numerous other directing jobs on television shows, including “CSI”, “Law & Order”, “24”, and “Lost”.

As his career progressed, Ben Yakov began to focus more on feature films. His first feature film was “The Last Days of Elvis”, a biopic about the life and death of the King of Rock and Roll. The film was a critical and commercial success, and it earned Ben Yakov numerous accolades, including the Grand Jury Prize at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival.

Since then, Ben Yakov has gone on to direct several other feature films, including “The Devil’s Double”, “The Fall”, and “The Blind Side”. He has also directed several documentaries, including the critically acclaimed “The Search for Life in the Universe”. His most recent project is a feature film adaptation of the novel “The Book of Life”, which is currently in post-production.

Throughout his career, Ben Yakov has been recognized for his work, winning numerous awards, including the Directors Guild of America Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film and the Satellite Award for Best Director.
