Olivia Rochette is an award-winning film director, writer, and producer based in Montreal, Canada. She has directed several critically acclaimed films, including the award-winning feature film “The Other Side of the Street”.

Rochette studied film at Concordia University in Montreal, and was an intern at the National Film Board of Canada before beginning her career in the industry. She went on to direct many short films, including “Silence” and “L’Odyssee” which were both screened at the Cannes Film Festival.

Rochette’s feature film debut, “The Other Side of the Street”, was released in 2009. It was a critical and commercial success, winning numerous awards including Best Canadian Feature Film at the Vancouver International Film Festival. The film was praised for its honest portrayal of relationships and the difficult decisions that are made in them.

Rochette continued to direct and produce award-winning films, including “The Red Violin” and “Last Night”. In 2014, she released her most ambitious film to date, “La Grande Séduction”. The film was a commercial success, grossing over $6 million at the box office.
