Mladen Matičević is a Croatian film director and screenwriter who has been working in the film industry since the early 1990s. He is best known for his award-winning feature films, most notably, the critically acclaimed movie The High Sun (2015).
Matičević was born in Zagreb, Croatia in 1967. He studied film directing at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb and graduated in 1995.
