Minna Grooss is a renowned film director, producer and screenwriter known for her award-winning work in the film industry. She is best known for her debut feature film, The Lost Husband (2020), which was nominated for an Academy Award and earned her a nomination for a Directors Guild of America Award.
Born in Germany in 1979, Grooss developed a passion for film from a young age. She studied film at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, and made several short films during her tenure there. Grooss then went on to work as an editor and assistant director for a number of German television series.
