Melina Terribili is an award-winning director and writer from Argentina. Her career in the film industry began in the early 2000s, when she studied film directing at the National University of the Arts in Buenos Aires. Since then, she has gone on to direct several feature films, documentaries, and short films that have earned her international recognition.

Her feature film debut was the 2010 drama “Reality”, which she wrote and directed. The film follows the story of a young man from the slums of Buenos Aires who struggles to make it in the competitive world of competitive video gaming. It won the Silver Lion at the Venice Film Festival, and was praised for its honest portrayal of a young person’s struggle to make his way in the world.

Her second feature film, “The Third Side of the River” was released in 2013 and was nominated for the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival. The film follows a family torn apart by the Argentine dictatorship in the 1980s. It was praised for its emotional depth and its exploration of the personal and political issues facing the country at the time.

In 2015, Terribili wrote and directed her third feature film, “The Movement”.
