Marie-Emma Paoli is an award-winning French film director and producer, best known for her documentaries and feature films. Born in France in 1983, Paoli studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris, where she received her degree in media studies.

Paoli got her start in the film industry as a production assistant on a variety of films and TV shows. In 2010, she made her feature film directorial debut with the documentary “The World in a Bag”, which was screened at several international film festivals. The film went on to win several awards, including the Cine Golden Award at the International Film Festival in Rome.

In 2013, Paoli directed her first feature film, “The Lost Souls”. The film was a critical success, and was nominated for a Cesar Award for Best First Feature Film.
