Mariana Paschoal is a Brazilian film director, producer, and screenwriter. She was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1970, and has been making films since the early 1990s.

Paschoal has won numerous awards for her work, including the Best Director award at the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival for her debut feature film, "A Festa" (1998). She has also been nominated for several awards, including the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival for her second feature film, "Cidade dos Homens" (2002).
