Majed Neisi is an Iranian filmmaker and film director. He is best known for his award-winning films that focus on the struggles of everyday Iranian life.

Majed Neisi was born in 1972 in Tehran, Iran. He studied film directing at the College of Dramatic Arts in Tehran and graduated in 1993. After graduation, he worked as a freelance editor and director for various Iranian television networks. He then went on to direct his first feature film, “The Last Flash”, in 1999. The film was an instant success and won multiple awards at festivals around the world.

In 2004, Majed Neisi released his second feature film, “The Iranian Trilogy”. This film was a three-part epic that focused on the struggles of everyday life in Iran. It was highly acclaimed by critics and won several awards, including the Special Jury Prize at the 2004 Cannes Film Festival.

In 2006, Majed Neisi released his third feature film, “The Song of Sparrows”. This film focused on a rural family in Iran and their struggles to make ends meet. The film was a critical success and was nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film.

Majed Neisi has since gone on to direct several other feature films, including “The Lizard” (2009), “The Fish Fall in Love” (2010), and “The Salesman” (2016). His films have won numerous awards at festivals around the world and have been praised for their realism and social commentary.

Majed Neisi has become one of the most influential filmmakers in Iran. His films have given a voice to the everyday struggles of Iranian people and have inspired many filmmakers around the world.
