Prin was born in Paris, France and grew up in the nearby city of Lille. She attended the University of Lille, where she earned a degree in film studies and went on to complete her Masters in Film Directing at the prestigious La Femis School in Paris.

Prin’s feature debut was “Run,” a drama about a young woman struggling to make a living in an economically depressed French town. The film earned multiple awards, including Best First Feature at the Locarno International Film Festival. Her subsequent films, including “Lily” (2014) and “The Last Days of Winter” (2017) were also critically acclaimed.

Prin is known for her artful compositions and strong female characters. Her films often reflect her own interests and upbringing, exploring themes of identity, family, and belonging. In her latest film, “The Last Days of Winter,” she tells the story of a woman dealing with the aftermath of a failed relationship.
