Joseph Spaid is an American film and television director and producer. He has worked on a variety of projects, including the television series Glee and the feature films The Hunger Games and The Fault in Our Stars.

Spaid was born in New York City, New York, and raised in a suburb of Long Island. He attended New York University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in film and television production. After college, he worked on several independent films and commercials before moving to Los Angeles in 2000.

In Los Angeles, Spaid worked on a variety of television projects, including the Emmy-winning series Glee. He directed several episodes of the show, including the series finale. He also directed the feature films The Hunger Games and The Fault in Our Stars.

Spaid has won numerous awards for his work, including the Directors Guild of America Outstanding Directorial Achievement award for the Glee episode "New York". He has also been nominated for four Emmy Awards for his work on Glee.
