Gerardo Panero is an established Spanish director and producer. He is best known for his work in the television series “El Internado” and his feature films “La Distancia” and “La Vida Inmortal”.

Panero was born in Madrid, Spain in 1971. He studied film production at the ESCAC (Catalan Film School) in Barcelona. It was here he began to hone his skills as a director and producer, and he soon found success in television.

Panero's television career took off when he was asked to direct an episode of “El Internado.” This series was a huge hit in Spain and he quickly became one of the most sought-after directors for television in the country. He went on to direct and produce several other television series, including “Cuéntame Cómo Pasó” and “Los Hombres de Paco.”
