Floor Wyns is a Dutch actress who began her career in the entertainment industry in her home country of the Netherlands. She has become well-known for her roles on several television shows and films, both in the Netherlands and in the United States.

Wyns was born in the Netherlands in 1981. She attended the University of Amsterdam, where she studied theater and film. After graduating, she got her start in acting by performing in local plays and short films. She quickly gained recognition for her performances and started to get minor roles in Dutch television series.

In 2007, Wyns made her big breakthrough when she was cast as a series regular on the popular Dutch television series ‘Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden’ (Good Times, Bad Times). Her role on the show earned her a prestigious Golden Calf award for Best Actress.

In 2010, Wyns made her first foray into American television when she was cast as a series regular in the primetime drama series ‘The Whole Truth’. She played the role of a Dutch police officer, and her performance was praised by critics and fans alike.

In 2013, Wyns starred in the Dutch feature film ‘Komt een vrouw bij de dokter’ (A Woman Comes to the Doctor). She played the lead role of a woman who is diagnosed with cancer and must come to terms with her mortality. The film was a critical success and earned Wyns another Golden Calf award for Best Actress.

In recent years, Wyns has continued to work in both Dutch and American television and film. She is currently starring in the Dutch television series 'De Twaalf' (The Twelve) and is set to appear in the upcoming television series 'The Dunes'.
