Emiliano Spampinato is an Italian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was born in Catania, Italy in 1975. He studied Film Direction at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome.
He has directed several feature films, including Il Cuore Grande delle Ragazze (2005), Il Ritorno di Cagliostro (2009), and his most recent film, Vittoria (2016). His films have been screened at numerous festivals, including the Berlin International Film Festival, the Rome International Film Festival, the Bologna Film Festival, and the Biografilm Festival.
He has also directed several short films, including La Corrente (2003), La Città di Vetro (2005), and La Luna Nera (2009). He has also directed music videos for several Italian artists, including Negramaro, Elisa, and Negrita.
