Emiliano Barbucci is an Italian film director, screenwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work on the critically acclaimed films The Great Beauty and La Grande Bellezza, both of which earned him Academy Award nominations.

Born in Rome, Italy in 1972, Barbucci began his career working on short films. His first feature film, La Grande Bellezza, was released in 2013 and earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Foreign Language Film. The film follows the life of an aging writer who reflects on his past and present relationships. It won Best Foreign Language Film at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards and was nominated for four Academy Awards.
