Dr Winnifred B. Cutler is an American biologist, endocrinologist, and a pioneering researcher in the field of human pheromones. She is an internationally recognized authority on the role of pheromones in human behavior and was the first to identify and isolate human pheromones.

Dr Cutler was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was raised in a family committed to science and healthcare. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1968, and a Doctor of Science degree in Human Physiology from the University of Pennsylvania in 1972.

Dr Cutler has held a variety of positions in the fields of healthcare and science, including as an adjunct professor at the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, a laboratory director at the University of Pennsylvania, and a research associate at the National Institutes of Health. She has also served as a consultant to a variety of organizations, including NASA, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the White House.

Dr Cutler’s research has centered on the role of pheromones in human behavior. In 1986, she founded Athena Institute for Women's Wellness Research, where she continues to conduct research on the topic. Her research has been published in numerous scientific journals, and she has presented her findings at numerous conferences and symposia.

Dr Cutler is also the author of several books on pheromones, including “The Human Pheromone Advantage: Attraction and Relationships Through the Power of Pheromones,” and “The Athena Pheromone 10:1 for Women.” She is an advocate for women's health and wellness, and a passionate advocate for pheromone-based products.

Dr Cutler has received numerous awards for her work, including the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists’ Lifetime Achievement Award and the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists’ Outstanding Research Award. She has been inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame, and has been named one of the 100 Women of Distinction by the Women’s National Book Association.
