David Kremer is an American director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the critically acclaimed film, The Last One, which was nominated for two Academy Awards.

Kremer was born in Los Angeles, California in 1973. He was raised in the small town of Santa Barbara, where he developed a love for filmmaking and storytelling. He attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he earned a degree in film studies.

Soon after graduating, Kremer began his career as a director, working on short films and documentaries for local television. In 2002, he made his feature film debut with the independent drama, The Last One. The film was a critical success, garnering two Academy Award nominations, and was Kremer's breakout hit.

Since then, Kremer has gone on to direct a variety of films, including the award-winning documentary, American Dream, which explored the lives of undocumented immigrants in the United States. He also directed the critically acclaimed drama, The Dilemma, which starred Vince Vaughn and Kevin James.
