BIO

Daniel Fabelo is an established director and filmmaker based in Miami, Florida. He specializes in narrative films, music videos, and commercials.

Fabelo was born in Havana, Cuba in 1981. His early years were marked by a love of film and a curiosity to explore stories. At the age of 14, Fabelo and his family moved to Miami, Florida where he continued to develop his passion for film. He studied at Miami Dade College and Florida State University, earning a degree in Film Production.

At the beginning of his career, Fabelo worked in various aspects of film production, including writing, producing, and editing. This experience gave him a unique perspective on the filmmaking process that he still uses today. His debut short film, “Una Lucha”, was selected for the Miami International Film Festival in 2006.

Since then, Fabelo has gone on to direct a variety of projects, including feature films, music videos, and commercials, for some of the biggest names in the industry. He has worked with a variety of artists, including Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull, and Shakira. His work has been featured on MTV, BET, Univision, and Telemundo.

In addition to his directing credits, Fabelo has also won numerous awards for his work. His feature film “The Great Departure” won the Grand Jury Prize at the Miami International Film Festival and the Best Film Award at the Havana Film Festival. He also won the Best Short Film Award at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival for his short film “El Sueño.”
