Daniel Asadi Faezi is a celebrated Iranian-American director and screenwriter who has been making waves in the film industry for his thought-provoking stories and innovative visual style. He has been lauded for his work in both fiction and documentary films, and has been recognized for his unique approach to storytelling.

Born in Tehran, Iran in 1981, Asadi Faezi began his career in film at an early age. He studied film and theatre at the University of Science and Technology in Tehran before moving to the United States in 2004. After arriving in the U.S., Asadi Faezi continued his studies at the University of Southern California School of Cinematic Arts, where he earned his M.F.A. in directing.

Since graduating, Asadi Faezi has gone on to make a number of acclaimed films. His debut feature, “The Citizen”, was released in 2011 and won several awards at international film festivals. The film follows the story of a young Iranian-American man who is forced to confront his identity as he travels back to the country of his birth.

Since then, Asadi Faezi has gone on to make a number of acclaimed documentaries. His most notable works include “After Spring”, a documentary about the Syrian refugee crisis, and “The Way Home”, which follows the story of a group of displaced Iraqis who have been living in a refugee camp for over a decade. Both films have been praised for their honest and intimate portrayals of the refugee experience.

In addition to his work in film, Asadi Faezi has also been involved in humanitarian projects. He is a founding member of the Iranian-American Non-Profit Organization, which works to provide aid to the Iranian community in the United States.
