Clarissa Campolina is a Brazilian film director and producer whose work has been featured in festivals and galleries around the world. Campolina was born in Minas Gerais, Brazil in 1982. She began her career in 2003, making the short film “Lembranças”, which was selected for the International Short Film Festival in São Paulo. Since then, she has gone on to make several other short films, including “Ouija” (2007), “The House of the Wind” (2008), and “The Return” (2011).

In 2010, Campolina made her feature film debut with “The Invisible Life of Eurídice Gusmão”. The film was widely acclaimed and was selected to compete in the Berlin International Film Festival. It was also nominated for the Golden Bear, the highest award at the festival.

Campolina’s follow-up feature, “A Wolf at the Door” (2013), was also well-received. It won the Best Director Award at the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival and was selected for competition at the Cannes Film Festival.

In addition to her work in film, Campolina has also directed several commercials and music videos. She has also been a part of several international art exhibitions, including the Sao Paulo Biennial and the International Film Festival Rotterdam.
