Alfonso Domingo is a Spanish film director and writer from Madrid. He has been recognized for his work on films such as The Wolf, The Witch, and the Wardrobe, The Curse of the Golden Flower, and The Last Station.

Born on June 5, 1968, in Madrid, Spain, Alfonso Domingo was raised by his parents, a pharmacist and a tailor. From an early age, he was influenced by the films his parents watched. He was drawn to the way stories were told through the medium of film and began to develop his own unique style of storytelling.

Domingo studied at the University of Madrid, graduating with a degree in film and television. After graduation, he began working as a director of short films and commercials. He quickly gained recognition and was offered a job as a director for a feature film.
