The Cove is one of the most passionate adventure, research and fight for animal rights documentaries, that has ever been made. It is the intent of the director Louie Psihoyos to change the practices of dolphin hunting in Japan, while showing recordings made in Taiji, an important dolphin hunting point in the country. The film shows the point of view of an ocean conservationist, and the damage made to dolphins, the environment and the ecosystem. Thanks to all the information revealed in the documentary with its excellent narrative, the film earned a well-deserved Academy Award in 2010.
