Familia Muniz. Drums of faith in Brazil

For more than six decades, the Muniz family has led the Guard Os Ciriacos, a brotherhood that honors the Lady of Rosary both on a daily basis and on different festivities throughout the year.

It all happens in the courtyard of their house, where they celebrate rites that include vocal choirs, percussions of all kinds and collective feasts. It is all about maintaining the Afro-descendant culture and its religiosity. This is their story.
