Ruth Kaaserer is a well-known director and producer of feature films, television and music videos. She has worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years, with experience in both narrative and documentary filmmaking.

Ruth Kaaserer was born in Germany and attended film school in Berlin. She began her career in the entertainment industry in the early 1990s, working as an assistant director on music videos and commercials. In addition to her work in film, Ruth Kaaserer has also directed and produced numerous television shows, including the award-winning series, Der Tod eines Freundes. She has also directed music videos for some of Germany’s most popular artists, including Nena and Xavier Naidoo.
