Pavel Kostomarov is a Russian film director, producer, and screenwriter. He is best known for his feature films, such as The Aviator, The Road to Calvary, and the television series, The Blacklist.

Kostomarov was born in 1973 in Moscow, Russia. From a young age, he had a passion for filmmaking. As a teenager, he attended the Moscow Institute of Cinematography, and then the State Institute of Theatrical Arts in St. Petersburg. After graduating, he began his career as a freelance production assistant for various Russian television shows.

In 2000, Kostomarov wrote and directed his first feature film, The Aviator, which earned him critical acclaim and a number of awards. After the success of The Aviator, Kostomarov continued to write and direct a number of feature films, including The Road to Calvary, The Scientist, and The Blacklist.

In addition to his feature films, Kostomarov has also directed several television shows, including the hit series, The Blacklist.
