Paul Lazarus is an award-winning director, producer and writer with more than 30 years of experience in film, television and theater. He is best known for directing and producing the acclaimed feature documentary SlingShot, which follows Segway inventor Dean Kamen and his mission to solve the world’s water crisis. The film screened at over 40 international festivals and won numerous awards.
Lazarus also directed the independent feature Seven Girlfriends, starring Tim Daly and Melora Hardin, and has an extensive television career that includes episodes of Pretty Little Liars, The Middle, Ugly Betty, Friends, Everybody Loves Raymond, Psych and LA Law.
Former Artistic Director of the historic Pasadena Playhouse, he has directed more than ninety plays and musicals at major venues such as Lincoln Center and The Kennedy Center. A graduate of Dartmouth College, Lazarus began his career apprenticing with the Royal Shakespeare Company in England.
