BIO

Nick Rosen is an American film director, producer, and screenwriter. He has directed and written several award-winning feature films and documentaries.

Rosen was born in New York City where he grew up. He attended the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University, where he graduated with a degree in film directing. After graduating, he began making short films and documentaries, working with some of the biggest names in the industry.

Rosen's first feature film was the critically acclaimed drama “Troublemaker”, which won several awards and was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award. He followed that up with the documentary “Rough Cut”, which was nominated for a Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival.

Rosen has since made several feature films, including “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, “The Big Year”, “The Way Way Back”, and “Freeheld”. He has also directed episodes of the television shows “Mad Men” and “The Good Wife”.

In addition to his work as a director, Rosen is also an accomplished producer. He has produced several films, including “The International”, “The Illusionist”, and “The Wrestler”. He has also produced the documentaries “The Square” and “Gorillas in the Mist”.

Rosen is a member of the Directors Guild of America and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. He is also a member of the National Board of Review and the American Film Institute.
