Nevena Desivojevic is a Serbian film director and screenwriter, best known for her work in the film industry. Born in Belgrade, Nevena graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade in 2010, after which she moved to London to study film directing at the London Film School.

Nevena's first feature film, 'No One Left Behind', was released in 2018. This film was a success, and earned Nevena many awards, including the Best Director Award at the 2018 Serbian Film Festival. The film follows a Serbian family who are trying to make a new life in London, and the struggles they face when faced with the realities of being an immigrant.

In 2019, Nevena released her second feature film, 'The Return', which was selected as the Serbian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 92nd Academy Awards. This film follows two women, a mother and daughter, who return to their homeland after more than 10 years of exile. The film was praised for its intimate exploration of the complex relationships between the characters.

Nevena has also written and directed several short films, including 'The End of the World', 'The Lost Soul', and 'The Unforgettable'. Her films have been shown at numerous international film festivals, including the Cannes Film Festival, Berlin International Film Festival, and Sarajevo International Film Festival.

Nevena has also worked as a screenwriter and producer for several projects, including the short film 'Memory Lane' (2012), and the feature film 'The Next Level' (2018).

Nevena is currently working on her third feature film, which is set to be released in 2021. She is also working on several other projects, including a documentary about the conflict in the Middle East.
