Miriam Dehne is a German director and producer, best known for her work on the award-winning television series Tatort. She began her career in television in the mid-1980s, working as an assistant director. She has since gone on to direct several highly acclaimed episodes of Tatort, as well as a number of feature films.

Dehne was born in Hamburg, Germany, in 1961. She studied film at the Hamburg Institute of Television and Cinema, graduating in 1986. After completing her studies, she worked as an assistant director on a number of television series including Polizeiruf 110 and Derrick.

In 1993, Dehne made her directorial debut with the television movie Die Spur des Täters. The following year, she directed the first episode of the long-running series Tatort, which was a hit with audiences and critics alike. She went on to direct a total of 14 episodes of the show, including several which won awards.

In 2001, Dehne made her feature film debut with the romantic comedy Nachtgestalten. The movie garnered critical and commercial success, and earned her an award for Best Director at the Bavarian Film Awards. She followed this up with the drama Liebesleben, which was nominated for six German Film Awards.

In recent years, Dehne has continued to work primarily in television, directing episodes of the series SOKO Köln, Der Kriminalist, and Der Staatsanwalt. She has also produced a number of projects, including the feature film Wir sind die Nacht.

Throughout her career, Dehne has been recognised for her work, winning numerous awards and accolades. She is one of Germany’s most respected directors, and her work continues to be admired by audiences around the world.

Known for
