Meghan Shea is an acclaimed documentary filmmaker known for her compelling storytelling and unique ability to capture the essence of human experiences. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, Meghan developed an early passion for visual arts and storytelling. After completing her high school education, Meghan pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Film Studies at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). During her time at UCLA, she immersed herself in various aspects of filmmaking, including cinematography, editing, and production. She honed her skills by working on short films and engaging in internships that allowed her to learn from established filmmakers. It was during this formative period that Meghan discovered her love for documentary filmmaking, drawn to its power to educate, inspire, and effect change.
