Manu Roma is a Spanish director, screenwriter and producer. He is best known for his work on the feature films "Lonely Hearts" (2016) and "The Life of David" (2017).

Roma was born in Valencia, Spain in 1975. He studied at the University of Valencia and graduated with a degree in Audiovisual Communication in 1998. He then began working as an assistant director for television productions before making his debut feature film in 2002.

Roma's first feature, "The House of Silence", was an independent production and was praised by critics for its atmosphere and style. This was followed by "Lonely Hearts" (2016), a drama about a group of young people dealing with the consequences of a tragic event. The film was a success in Spain and won several awards, including the Goya Award for Best New Director.

In 2017, Roma released his second feature, "The Life of David". This film tells the story of a young man who struggles to cope with the death of his father. The film was acclaimed by critics and went on to win several awards, including the Goya Award for Best Film.
