Luciana Mazeto is a renowned Brazilian film director, producer, and screenwriter. She is best known for her films such as “Aquele Querido Mês de Agosto”, “A Festa da Menina Morta”, and “O Som ao Redor”.
Mazeto was born in the city of Belo Horizonte in Brazil. She graduated from the Federal University of Minas Gerais in 1994 with a degree in Social Communication. Following her graduation, Mazeto began her career as a writer and director for documentaries and short films. Her first film, “Aquele Querido Mês de Agosto”, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 2008 and was critically acclaimed.
