Master in Multimedia Art by the University of Lisbon, he graduated in Cinema and Audiovisual at the Federal University of Ceará, maintaining permanent contact with the performing arts and dance dramaturgy.
His films, which include more than 10 short films and the feature film “António One Two Three” (2017), were shown and awarded at festivals such as Locarno, Rotterdam, Viennale, IDFA, Cinéma du Réel and BAFICI, and in important institutions such as the Lincoln Center, Centre Georges Pompidou, MASP and the French Cinematheque. Retrospectives of his filmography were presented in Colombia, Portugal, France, and more recently at IFFR.
