Komeil Soheili is an Iranian film director, screenwriter, producer, and editor. He was born in Tehran, Iran, in 1985. He studied film directing at the University of Tehran and graduated in 2005.

Soheili started his career in the film industry in 2008 with his debut feature film, The Wind. The film was critically acclaimed and earned numerous awards. It was also the first Iranian film to be selected for the Cannes Film Festival.
