Julien Huger is an American film and television director who has worked on a variety of projects including feature films, music videos, commercials, and television series. He is most famous for his work on the Emmy-nominated series Transparent and the critically acclaimed feature film Mollys Game.

Huger was born in Los Angeles in 1975. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley, where he developed an early interest in filmmaking. He began making short films as a teenager and went on to attend the University of Southern California, where he studied film and television production. After graduating, Huger moved to New York City to pursue a career in directing.

The film was based on the memoir of the same name by Molly Bloom and starred Jessica Chastain as the lead. He is a board member of the non-profit organization REACH LA, which provides mentorship programs to underprivileged youth. He is also an active supporter of the organization, Heal the Bay, which is dedicated to protecting Southern California’s coastal water.
