Jonas Benarroch is an acclaimed Spanish film director, producer and writer. He is best known for his thought-provoking and socially-relevant films. He has won numerous awards and accolades for his work, including the Goya Award for Best New Director for his 2020 film "The Endless Trench".

Benarroch was born in Madrid in 1981. He studied at the Autonomous University of Madrid, and later gained a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the University of Seville.
