BIO

Jay Myers is a filmmaker, director, and actor whose career has spanned multiple genres and decades. Born in New York City in 1967, Myers grew up with a deep passion for the arts and a strong desire to tell stories that could move and inspire people. After graduating from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, he began his career as an editor and assistant director on a variety of projects, from documentaries to feature films.

Myers then wrote and directed his first feature film, "The Last Supper," in 1996. The film earned him an Independent Spirit Award nomination for Best First Feature and was featured at the Sundance Film Festival. His next feature, "The Matchmaker" starring Janeane Garofalo, won the Grand Jury Prize at the Seattle International Film Festival.

Myers has continued to direct and produce a wide variety of films, including the romantic comedy "The Rebound," starring Catherine Zeta-Jones; the crime drama "The Animal," starring Ving Rhames; the thriller "Cellular," starring Kim Basinger; and the action-thriller "The Day After Tomorrow," starring Dennis Quaid. He also directed the television series "The Dresden Files" and the animated series "Storm Hawks."

Myers has collaborated with some of Hollywood's biggest stars, including Robert Downey Jr., Mel Gibson, and Angelina Jolie. He has also directed music videos for some of the world's most popular musicians, including Mariah Carey, Enrique Iglesias, and The Black Eyed Peas.

Myers is a passionate storyteller who continues to push the boundaries of storytelling through film and television. His passion for storytelling has earned him the respect of his peers and the admiration of audiences worldwide.
