Born in Porto city in 1984, Isabela studied Architecture in Porto finishing in 2008 with a Master Thesis on the theme "Architecture and Cinema - The architectural reality of dreams". She did an internship in Porto and after 2 years she started her career in architecture in the international space. Worked and lived in Belgium, Kuwait, Germany and Switzerland, where she has lived since 2014. In 2017 she decided to interrupt architecture and beginn a Filmmaking course at Met Film school in Berlin to focus on Documentary and Experimental Direction. As a result, she made a short doc "Saudade" that was selected for the Media Library Visions du Reel, Film Festival in Nyon as well as other small festivals. She was also 2 years Jury at the Diversions international Film Festival in Zagreb, Croatia. Currently, she works as an architect in Switzerland and she is finishing a Master in Directing Cinema in Porto while working in some documentary and fiction works as director.
