Fargetta, born Giangiacomo Fargetta, is an Italian singer, songwriter, composer, DJ, and producer. He was born in Milan, Italy in 1965 and began his musical career in the 1980s as a DJ. Fargetta's career as a DJ was incredibly successful, and he was considered a pioneer of the Italian dance music scene.

Fargetta released his debut single "Music, My Revolution" in 1989, and it quickly became a hit in Italy and abroad. He followed it with the singles "Radio" and "The Music is Movin'", which were both equally successful. He released his first album, "The Music Is Movin'", in 1991 and it was a huge success.
